Through a resolution of a week ago the Liguria region has published the hunting calendar relating to the 2019-2020 season. Here is what you can read in the text, in particular the salient points to guide the Ligurian hunters. From 1 October to 30 November, the hunt for wood pigeon, blackbird, song thrush and cesena is allowed, without prejudice to the exclusion on Tuesdays and Fridays, for a further two days a week, throughout the region. exclusively if practiced by stalking, with the maximum daily game bag limit of 10 head for wood pigeon and 15 for blackbird, song thrush and cesena.
With regard to the redwing, only one additional day is allowed in this period. Which species are huntable specifically?
1) common hare, wild rabbit: from the third Sunday of September to 30 November;
2) quail, dove: from the third Sunday of September to 31 October; for the turtledove species from
third Sunday of September to 30 September only from stalking;
3) red partridge and gray partridge: from the third Sunday of September to 30 November on the basis of plans by
levy drawn up by the ATC and CA, commensurate with the dynamics of the population, which
provide for the adoption of withdrawal control mechanisms. The Region can determine
limitations relating to hunting areas and periods;
4) pheasant: from the third Sunday of September to 30 November; from 1 December to 31 January on the basis of withdrawal plans drawn up by the ATC and CA, commensurate with the dynamics of the population which envisage the adoption of withdrawal control mechanisms;
5) woodcock: from 1 October to 15 December; from December 16 to January 20 two days a week are allowed, at the hunter's choice, with a maximum collection of one garment per day. The woodcock hunt in January can only be exercised exclusively;
6) blackbird, lark: from 1st October to 31st December; for the blackbird species from the third Sunday of September to 30 September only from stalking, with a maximum, per hunter, of 5 animals per day;
7) wood pigeon: from 1st October to 31st December; in the periods: from the third Sunday of September to September 30 and from January 11 to February 10, exclusively by stalking. From 1 to 10 February the maximum daily game bag per hunter is limited to 5 animals;
8) song thrush: from 1st October to 31st December; from the third Sunday of September to 30 September only by stalking; from 1st to 31st January, two days a week are allowed in wandering and / or stalking form with a maximum withdrawal of 10 items per day;
9) redwing: from 1st October to 31st December; from 1st to 31st January, two days a week are allowed in wandering and / or stalking form with a maximum withdrawal of 10 items per day;
10) cesena: from 1st October to 31st December; from 1st to 31st January, two days a week are allowed in wandering and / or stalking form with a maximum withdrawal of 10 items per day;
11) mallard, moorhen, coot, teal, pintail, wigeon, shoveler, pochard, garganey, gadwall, whisk, lapwing and snipe: from the third Sunday of September to 31 January;
12) water rail: from 1 October to 31 January;
13) moretta: from 1st November to 31st January;
14) hooded crow, hooded crow, jay, magpie: from the third Sunday of September to December 31 and from January 11 to February 10;
15) black grouse: from 1 October to 30 November (limited to males); the Region determines, on the basis of specific country censuses, the quota of black grouse that can be killed in relation to the faunal consistency surveyed in the territory and determines the procedures for reporting the culled animals for the purpose of suspending the collection.
