La The Tuscan Regional Authority has decided to accept the appeal presented by Italian Federation of Hunting on the alleged failure record of migratory game heads after killing. One hunter had been charged with this very violation, albeit the record was not ascertained. The agents who had drawn up the report had limited themselves to applying Article 12 bis of the National Hunting Law, which provides for the annotation of the fauna immediately after killing.
The Region has rejected all this. In particular, the Law 3 of 1994 he inserted the word “ascertained” after the killing, in order to allow the certain annotation of the culled species. Such a certainty is not possible until the downed head is collected and examined more closely to have no doubts about definitive recognition. A too hasty examination could lead to noting different species, compromising the data of the fauna taken.
The annotation after every single shotmoreover, it would effectively prevent hunting. In the reply of the local authority, reference was made to the motion by which the council had been committed to implementing the initiatives for the correct application of the law. The report challenged by the hunter has been filed and Federcaccia and the Confederation of Tuscan Hunters they called for greater vigilance with regard to valuations.
