In the period included between October 1st and November 1st, wild boar hunting will open throughout the peninsula, for this reason we publish the regulatory references relating to the main types of radio used for hunting. These appliances, called LPD, acronym for low power appliances, are essentially of two types: CB and PMR. Among the latter, those with weaker power, generally of low cost and sold in pairs, are exempt from bureaucratic formalities and payment of the tax.
For all the others we report what is reported on the website of the Ministry of Economic Development:
City band (CB) and Personal Mobile Radio (PMR)
These are the apparatuses:
for city band communications (CB) - art. 105, paragraph 1, point p) of the Electronic Communications Code - pursuant to point 8 of art. 334 of Presidential Decree 156/73;
PMR446 (Personal Mobile radio), similar to CB equipment pursuant to art. 105, paragraph 1, point p) of Electronic Communications Code.
The Declaration prescribed by art. 145, paragraph 3, of the Electronic Communications Code, duly completed and submitted to the Territorial Inspectorate, in person or by post, complete with the attachments described in the form itself. It is recommended that you keep a copy of the Statement presented.
The use or continued use of the aforementioned devices is subject to payment, by January 31 of each year, of a contribution of €. 12,00, to the provincial state treasury, which authorizes personal and non-transferable use regardless of the number of devices, as indicated by art. 36 ofAnnex 25 to the Electronic Communications Code. If you decide not to continue using the equipment, it will be sufficient to stop paying the aforementioned annual fee, without further obligations.
