Federcaccia and its ACMA sector have long been involved in this valuable monitoring activity, which produces the most reliable data on the trends and distribution of waterfowl, with evident repercussions in the hunting field. The insiders, be they technicians, professional or amateur ornithologists, appreciate the collaboration in the project of hunters, who in addition to being qualified by ISPRA with a special exam can boast a practical knowledge of humid environments and of the habits of the wild such as to be essential for the success of the censuses themselves.
