An awaited appointment
Monte Farno in Val Gandino, in the province of Bergamo, becomes the protagonist with a series of national events. The first protagonists were the Ladies who are becoming more and more a point of reference for the entire national movement, with two appointments at the end of June. Trofeo Lady and the Italian huntress, two days that are hard to forget, for the harmony, joy and healthy competitiveness, where the ladies showed courage, physical prowess and a great desire to be together, not to overlook professionalism. Those in Bergamo are excellent terrains for game up to the event, both in terms of quantity and quality: impeccable organization by the Federcacciatori di Gazzaniga led by Angelo Alberti, two days with clear weather and constant wind, during which the Judges assisted from young judges to gain experience, ready to face the specialization exams shortly.
Challenging terrains
Let's see what the rehearsals said, in Maurizio Masiero's comment: true dog-loving, very demanding both for the handlers and for their assistants, but the fatigue disappears when you look around, a postcard that many would like to take with you; these lands, grazing, make you feel in the natural habitat, the home of the partridges, met by all the competitors, thanks to the guides who are profound connoisseurs of the places; but unfortunately few of them have pocketed the point. As already mentioned, demanding and auxiliary terrains not used to the mountains, wild ready well inserted, for some time now in the territory, have created a natural selection”.
A great organization
The work of the judges was made simple by the sportsmanship of the competitors, by the quality of the land and the game, as already mentioned by an organization up to the situation, a round of applause to the coordinator for Lombardy Cristiana Preti, always attentive to every detail for the success of the event; the only disagreement was the number of participants, perhaps the demanding terrain and the altitudes, close to 1600 metres, scared those new to these trials a little (source: Federcaccia).
