Confagricoltura Tuscany has decided to make its voice heard on the issue of regional abatements and on the binding opinion of ISPRA. As stated in a note signed by the regional president of the association, Francesco Miari Fulcis, there are obvious inconsistencies between what are the requests of plans for the abatement of the Territorial Areas of Hunting with respect to the resolution of the Tuscany Region after the aforementioned opinion.
In practice, as established by the Institute, the culls have been redefined and the numbers of the Region are far below the real need. The difference is 30 percentage points. Tuscan farmers already know what will happen. The culls are considered too few and insufficient, while damage to crops is set to increase.
The confederation does not know how it was possible to record such a deficit, also why ATC estimates were made in full compliance with ISPRA monitoring. Confagricoltura has asked for an immediate clarification, otherwise the results of the companies in the primary sector will be catastrophic. The hope is that the Tuscany Region will recontract as soon as possible with ISPRA the number of ungulates and pests that can be killed, it is not excluded. a damage claim involving all the bodies that deal with the subject, without forgetting the possible appeal to the European Court.
