Very little is missing from the presentation in Regional Council of the 2017-2018 hunting calendar of the Aosta Valley. The text has already been approved by the Faunal Council, without forgetting the discussion that took place in Hunting Committee, the body that deals with hunting management. As he explained Laurent Viérin, Regional Councilor for Agriculture, the calendar was liked by the various subjects involved and present in the area, therefore the Committee's proposals were welcomed.
The Region aims to seek synthetic solutions to meet the main needs of Aosta Valley hunters, in order to enhance the alpine reality. The Regional Faunal Council is made up of various exponents and experts. In particular, it also includes an expert in wildlife management who was appointed by ISPRA, the representatives of agricultural and environmental organizations, the president of the Hunting Committee, a representative who has been designated by the mayors of the Aosta Valley and finally another representative for what concerns the Unités des Communes valdôtaines.
Just in recent weeks the northern region has met the new president of the Hunting Management Committee, Elena Michiardi, the first woman to hold this important position.
