The provincial section of Catania of Italian Federation of Hunting organized the seventh edition of the prestigious Etna Trophy along with the thirteenth Memorial named after Orazio Sorbello. It is a practical hunting competition on partridge which has been scheduled for Sunday 2 July 2017. The venue will instead be that of the Sant'Uberto Dog Training Area which is located in Contrada Torrazze Randazzo (precisely in the province of Catania).
The dog event will take place on two fields and the final awards will concern the first three classified of each battery. The registration fee is 35 euros, without forgetting that the meeting is scheduled for 5:30 on the competition fields. The Etna Trophy will be awarded by barrage, while the Memorial Sorbello will go to the hunter who has obtained the highest score ever.
This appointment has now consolidated over time and has recorded the important participation of pointing dogs which have always ensured an excellent show. The competitors come largely from the various Sicilian provinces, but also from other southern regions, Calabria in the first place.
