even the Italian Hunting Union decided to comment on the hunting calendar 2017-2018 just approved by the Campania Region. As underlined by SVI, the nightmare of the incompetence of the local authority on hunting has returned again. In the document, in particular, the lack of knowledge on the part of the operators of the sector was identified, an evident and further penalty of all Campania hunters.
More specifically, the ravens have been included in the dates of the pre-opening and until 10 February 2018, while for turdids the final date is represented by the last ten days of January, with the Region accused of having entered new restrictions, motivating them with the precautionary principle. As a result, collection times for aquatic animals have been reduced (January 20), with a closure of the quail hunting (October 31st) literally invented, without forgetting the general opening on October 1st.
The Syndicate learned with sadness the approval of the calendar by some hunting associations: of the latter the repeated silence against "the usual detractors who sit in the Campania Region" was especially condemned. SVI has invited to appeal to the Regional Administrative Court: in case of victory a pre-opening may be missed, returning on the other hand to the calendar of last year, otherwise you risk losing a month of hunting and your dignity.
