An interesting novelty that could also be "imitated" in other parts of Italy. Last 29th April the preparatory course for thequalification exam to issue the hunting license at the headquarters of the provincial section of Cuneo of the Italian Federation of Hunting. During the lesson, held by Paolo Foi and by the owner of the shooting range of San Benigno Luca Emanuel, we did not only talk about the traditional side-by-side hammers outside, but also three muzzle-loading weapons.
The illustrations to the course participants were edited by Bruno Pronzato, number one of theMuzzleloading Association of Cuneo Hunters (ACCA): it is not the first time that there is this fruitful collaboration with the local Federcaccia, useful for deepening and making people better known a form of hunting that is full of charm and able to ideally combine the ancient with the modern.
Pronzato spoke, in particular, about the security needed for handle muzzle-loading weapons, without forgetting the actual use in the field. The course was also followed by very young participants, which they liked the initiative and were intrigued by a not well known loading method. The wish of Federcaccia Cuneo and that these guys can hunt successfully and in the open countryside, bracing double-barreled shotguns.
