The administrative judges have decided
As announced by the Italian Hunting Federation, the Regional Administrative Court for Sardinia (specifically the First Section) ruled by rejecting the appeal proposed by the Earth Association regarding the island's hunting calendar for the 2023-2024 season.
Earth's requests in detail
In particular, environmentalists asked for the suspension of the decree of the Regional Councilor for the Environment n. 39 of 8.1.2024, published on 10.1.2024, with which the closure of the hunt for waterfowl and turdid fish was set for 31.1.2024, instead of, as requested by the appellant association, arranging for the closure of the hunt to be brought forward to turdids on 10.1.2024 and to waterfowl on 20.1.2024.
The Council Chamber
In addition to rejecting the Request, thus leaving the deadlines set by the regional Administration in full validity, the Sardinian administrative court itself has set the council chamber for next February 7th for the collegial hearing.
