Four days ago, Sunday 20 November 2016, two hunters of Storo (in the province of Trento) they found their shed completely burned out. This is a man and his son who reached the fixed stakeout at dawn and were ready for start hunting. The smell of burning could be heard from a distance: only the wood stove was saved from the fire, then the two were helped by another hunter in the reclamation and removal of the ash.
The gamekeeper was notified of what happened and some neighbors in the shed offered their help, providing wood and material for reconstruction. The rain the day before avoided worse consequences. The hypotheses being examined by the investigators are different.
It does not appear that the two hunters had a fight with anyone and one cannot even speak of the action of a poacher, since the phenomenon is practically absent in this area. The most reliable reconstruction is that of a person envious of the favorable position of the shed, from which they can hunting thrushes and bushes in great abundance.
I don't think that among hunters, even if there is a bit of envy for the best place, one gets to burn another hunter's hut.
I think that such a wicked action is only the work of the usual Taliban anti-huntsmen.
As a hunter, my full solidarity with the owner of the shed.
