THELombard Hunters Association is back to talk about supplementary days, explaining how there were two phenomena related to this topic. First of all, ISPRA provided a "photocopy" opinion, which testifies that there is little effort in addressing the issue, given that there is hiding behind already heard reasons, such as that of hunting pressure and that of endangered species (lark in the first place).
The other phenomenon is represented by the attitude of the Region. The latter has established that they can be hunted 10 larks a day and 50 a year, exactly half of what is foreseen by the nearby Veneto Region. According to ACL, there can be no confrontation this way, resulting in increased tension and discontent. L'meeting with the Minister of the Environment, Gian Luca Galletti, is still uncertain and the hunting association has asked that it be done in Rome, in order to avoid any barrel discharge.
In the ACL press release you can read the supplementary days dictated by ISPRA to the Lombardy Region. For the UTR Valpadana (Mantua) there are two (with the exception of tufted duck, pintails, lapwings e larks), as well as for the UTR Pavia and the UTR Insubria (Como-Varese). An additional day has been scheduled for the UTR Brianza (Monza-Lecco), the UTR Brescia and the UTR Bergamo.
