ANUU Nave (BS), hunters committed to clean up the territory of Monte Maddalena and the Ca 'del Li' Pozza.
The ANUU hunters group of the Nave section, in the province of Brescia, during the months of May and June carried out the cleaning of the wooded area at the Ca 'del Lì pool, located in the Municipality of Nave, and the maintenance of the margins of the road of the Monta Maddalena. These environmental cleaning operations are part of the numerous direct management actions of the territory, a concrete demonstration of the active role of the hunter in public utility works at the service of the entire community. Both operations have a very important value because without the intervention of hunters (together with other volunteer friends) these areas would no longer be usable by the population due to a substantially impenetrable vegetation, an example above all is the road to La Maddalena which without this contribution of hunters would be impassable. In May, the Nave section sacrificially cleaned up the area surrounding the Pozza della Cà del Lì, one of the most evocative areas of the Navense mountains (not far from the Navazze locality) where hunters were once again able to demonstrate their environmental dedication. On 2 June, despite the inclement weather due to the continuous rains, the Anuu section of Nave and the "Amici della Maddalena" group (coordinated by Maestro Nicolini) renewed the usual appointment for environmental maintenance of the edge of the road that leads from Nave to summit of Mount Maddalena, a route very popular with the population that without hunters and volunteer friends would be totally disused.
From the first light of dawn the hunters "armed" with brush cutters, blowers and various tools have cleaned and mowed the grass and brambles next to the road, a very demanding job that lasted throughout the morning and in the following days. Once again it has been concretely highlighted how much hunters are indispensable interlocutors also in the management of the environment, a resource that is certainly beneficial for the society in which we live where hunting must return to recover that right cultural and environmental consideration too often trampled on. from media falsehoods of all kinds.
On the one hand there are hunters who live, know and manage the environment in the first person, on the other we see an animal rights world more attentive to the controversy and the care of the green in books; with a view to an increasingly necessary unity of the Hunting Associations, we will be able to win our authoritative battle only if we are able to communicate to the population the many advantages contained in hunting, a cultural, environmental and economic sense that passes through a more direct communication towards those who do not know anything about hunting but could be pleasantly surprised to understand how much hunting is a real resource.
