Wild boar hunting in the Vasto area. For the second year in a row, the beltlai teams will not go out and will not carry out withdrawals in controversy against the regulation imposed by the Abruzzo Region. The decision, strong and controversial, was taken this afternoon during a meeting held in Piane d'Archi, also present the regional president of the Libera HuntingAnthony Campitelli.
Twenty-one team leaders representing as many teams have decided to continue with the strike of the wild boar hunting. The deadlines for submitting the teams expired on June 30th. About fifteen teams have signed up and will therefore be able to hunt wild boar at the start of the next hunting season.
Other teams, twenty-one in fact, have decided not to register and therefore to continue the boar hunting strike launched last year. “We have lost some comrades along the way, but we are here determined to continue the strike. - explained the regional president of Free Hunting, Antonio Campitelli.
“The protest continues because nothing has changed since last year. - concluded Campitelli - The regulation we challenged has remained as it was, without any changes. Our requests are ignored and therefore we remain firm on our positions ”.
