As reported by Confederation of Tuscan Hunters, today's society and the media are increasingly invaded by messages of aggression and condemnation against hunting and hunters. The CCT is committed daily to defending a culture, which has its roots in rurality, in the traditions and values that for centuries have characterized the relationship that man has with his fellow men and nature; a culture that now seems to be outdated. Young people approaching e they practice hunting today, are often considered by their peers to be "white flies", bearers of a diversity to be regarded with suspicion, often judged as a legacy of an anachronistic past and therefore out of reality.
There is no doubt that the years we are living are characterized by the profound transformation of the way of being, of relating and communicating. An alleged modernity that involves above all the more receptive subjects than they are precisely our young and very young. Children who increasingly find references and aggregation in places and symbols that we parents too often risk underestimating; physical and virtual places, testimonials, myths and idols of a generation that feeds on messages and behaviors about which it would be worth reflecting and reasoning. Hunting, the relationship with nature, emotions, poetry and the pleasure of an activity strongly focused on the environment and its many facets now seem light years away from the way of living and thinking about fun and playful aspects. But what happens in other places where young people and the very young find their destination today?
But above all, what messages go through their minds? The news events and the tragedies of these days highlight an aspect in our opinion to be studied in a careful and accurate way and on which it is necessary to reflect and meditate. A "trapper", considered one of the musical phenomena of the moment, followed by over 1.500.000 followers and who fills rooms reaching important milestones such as the double platinum record, is characterized by "songs" that bring back too questionable and vulgar lyrics and contents . Are we really sure that these are messages to be divulged? In our opinion we are absent-mindedly witnessing a dangerous cultural and social drift. Many of our young people, the future of this country, the future ruling classes and the citizens of tomorrow, are drinking from these and similar sources. Probably hunting and its ancient values could still teach us something!
