Le elections of next March 4th are one of the most debated topics in the hunting field. A clear example is there control room created ad hoc by nationally recognized associations, all reinforced by a series of statements on expectations. According to Provincial Federcaccia of Brescia it is not early to think about this vote, which is important for both citizens and hunters.
In the “Cacciapensieri” column, the association explained how the time has come to find agreements with political forces, at least those that do not provide for the abolition of hunting. Above all, it is a question of asking that compliance with the laws is not one-sided, but also for those who see hunters as the only problem with regards to environment protection. Federcaccia Brescia would like the commitment of hunters to continue and be recognized as an added value, in order to maintain the Italian social fabric, its villages and countryside.
Politics must be asked for specific commitments and not vague promises as is usually the case, avoiding that it yields to the pressure of environmentalist fanaticism. For the Brescia section of the association it is the only solution to avert the growing mistrust. Finally, "Cacciapensieri" underlines how the politicians willing to listen to the reasons of the hunting world are about ten at a regional level and even less at the national level, consequently it is necessary to focus on a few specific points and to demand consensus on these.
