The provincial section of Macerata of Italian Federation of Hunting intervened after reading some articles on the opening of the hunting season 2017-2018. The goal of the association is to clarify, without being overwhelmed byuninformed emotionality. First of all, the heat and the absence of rainfall in the summer have increased the reproduction rate of wildlife.
The Marche hunters are operating in full swing compliance with EU and Italian law, without forgetting that in pre-opening most of the wild turtledoves had started migrating, which means that there were no slaughters. Some Territorial Areas of Hunting and some municipal sections of the same Federcaccia have restored the old rural sources which are located in the countryside, so as to ensure points where the animals can drink. This is happening in the territories with programmed management, in the areas of hunting respect and in the Restocking and Capture Areas.
For each huntable species there are accurate studies and censuses, therefore the sampling is always prudent and sustainable. Despite the presence of hares, pheasants and gray partridges, the shots were not numerous. The decline in hunters is a fact, but the Marches shotguns are aware and aware of their irreplaceable role in the management of the territory and wildlife.
