After the continuous requests made by Federcaccia Campania and from the other regional hunting associations it was hoped that the activities, such as hunting, fishing, truffle hunting, etc., which by their nature take place in individual form, outdoors and in isolated natural environments, could benefit from a derogation from the limitations on interprovincial mobility established already by the Ordinance n.82 of 20 October 2020 of the Campania Region. Instead the latest Ordinance, n.87 of 31 October 2020 confirmed the ban on travel between the provinces of Campania if not for reasons of work, health, urgency or necessity, without giving an answer to those who would like to leave the inhabited centers, possible outbreaks of contagion to go to the countryside or to the mountains.
Federcaccia has developed a network of contacts between politicians, managers and regional technicians to create a useful synergy to inform the experts on the methods of carrying out the hunting activity, which, taking place individually and far from the places of possible contagion, represents one of the ways to slow down the epidemic grip. Unfortunately, the ban on moving between the provinces of Campania has in fact provoked discrimination among Campania hunters, and the most damaged are the Neapolitan hunters who, not having sufficient venable territories, are forced to register in the hunting territories of other provinces of Campania and according to the Ordinance in force cannot exercise their own right acquired through the payment of onerous government concessions, regional and provincial (ATC).
Another no less important aspect is constituted by thehunting specific species of wildlife such as the ungulates which is practiced by hunters from various provinces and which since last October 23 are experiencing many organizational difficulties. Natural consequence of this limitation is the failure to harvest these species which continue to cause damage to the world of agriculture and which represent a danger for many motorists causing road accidents more and more frequent, as the latest news reports tell. Federcaccia will continue to make the utmost effort to make the voices of the hunters heard and is confident that the legitimate and well-founded requests of the hunting world can be heard and endorsed (Federcaccia Campania press office).
