It is celebrated today, March 3, the World Wild Nature Day. The aim is to raise public awareness of the crimes against fauna and Flora, promoting greater awareness of the need for conservation and sustainable and regulated use of natural resources. “Today, nearly a quarter of all species on the planet are in danger of extinction in the coming decades and against this risk, hunters are increasingly at the forefront ”underlined the president of the Italian Federation of Hunting Massimo Buconi FIDC.
“The hunting world is in action every day to preserve biodiversity across the planet. Where hunting is carried out in a sustainable and regulated manner, as happens in our country, interest in all species is also kept high and investments are made in the maintenance and recovery of natural environments ". Hunting is recognized as an activity capable of managing and protecting wildlife, habitats and ecosystems.
