Fitav: Meeting between Rossi and Gen.li Rositani and Sestili for a more fruitful collaboration.
On 03.11.2010 at the Fitav offices in Rome, a meeting was held between the President Luciano Rossi, General D.CC Giuseppe Rositani, Head of the V ° General Affairs Department of the Defense Staff, and General B. Rinaldo Sestili, Head of the Sports Office of the Defense Staff.
In addition to an evaluation of the collaboration between the Federation and the Armed Forces and State Bodies, the main topic of the meeting was the creation of a regulation for the directives concerning athletes already in career (advancements, licenses and transfers) and for the inclusion of new elements in the Sports Groups.
During the meeting the idea of the creation of the "Military Mediterranean Games" was also launched, to be presented to the CISM, International Military Sports Committee. "I am very satisfied with how this project, which I strongly wanted sixteen years ago, has developed - said Rossi - The commitment of the Federation and the Armed Forces has created a very fruitful synergy that has brought results of absolute excellence and that, I'm sure, in the future they will be even better ”.
