The First Section of the Regional Administrative Court of the Marche spoke after five years on the appeal filed by LAC (League for the Abolition of Hunting) and LAV (Anti-Vivisection League) against fox hunting in province of Ascoli Piceno. The appeal of the two associations dates back to 2013 and referred to the executive decision of that year concerning the ordinary control of the especially in supernumerary in the wildlife protection institutes that fall within the territory of the Ascoli ATC.
Furthermore, LAV and LAC had lashed out against the fox withdrawals as regards the three-year period 2013-2015. After examining all the documents and considering that almost six years have passed without a new request for setting the hearing being presented, the appeal in question was considered as perempt and therefore extinct. The expenses are compensated and the decree will be communicated to the established parties.
Opposition to the board can be proposed within 60 days of the communication, even if this matter is well understood how environmental and animal rights appeals can be concluded. In the Marche region there have been several in recent times due to hunting in the areas of the so-called Natura 2000 Network that have done and are still making discussions.
