There is obvious sarcasm in the title of the statement published by the association Arch Hunting to comment on the serious incident this morning in the Lodi area. One person died and ten were injured due to the crossing of at least three wild boars on the A1 motorway (between Lodi and Casalpusterlengo).
Here is what the hunting abbreviation wrote in this regard: "The Association expresses its condolences to the victim's family and its solidarity with the injured. In the third millennium it is inconceivable that such things happen. We are confident that the judiciary will ascertain any responsibilities.
Both those of those who had to take care of the maintenance of the fences that delimit the highway, and those of those who, with obstructive policies of animal rights fundamentalists, allowed the to proliferate these animals beyond measure and prevented the correct management of the territory. So much so that now, in the vicinity of roads and houses, wild boars are more numerous than in the woods".
