La Anti Vivisection League (LAV) , Italian Bird Protection League (LIPU) have received badly the decision of the Regional Administrative Court of Tuscany to reject their appeal on the hunting calendar relating to the 2018-2019 season. The judges rejected the request for suspension, explaining how the Region has adequately motivated its choices. The two animal welfare associations have therefore announced the use of the Council of State.
After stressing to respect the sentences, both leagues are intent on moving forward. The news of the rejection was received with enthusiasm by the hunting world. Particularly the Federcaccia and the Confederation of Tuscan Hunters formed themselves ad "opposendum" alongside the Tuscany Region, in defense of the Calendar and the rights of all Tuscan hunters.
A concrete contribution from Federcaccia and CCT, focused on the provision of reports and memories of a technical-scientific nature useful for countering the alleged illegitimacy raised by the animal-environmentalist associations promoting the appeal. However, the guard should not be lowered as demonstrated by the new animal rights proclamations that herald a new and tough legal battle. in the meantime the Tuscan hunting calendar is safe and fully feasible, since it has fully maintained its effectiveness.
