Access and interchange
The Tuscany Regional Council in its session yesterday 9 October 2023, approved the resolution concerning the reciprocity and exchange agreements between the Regions of Tuscany, Umbria and Lazio for the hunting season 2023/2024. This agreement regulates the methods of access and exchange between the three Regions as well as establishing the daily access quotas for 20 days for migratory game from ambush, the cost of which for Tuscan hunters is set at 35 euros.
The limits that have been set
For the Umbria region they can be used by Tuscan hunters for up to 20 days upon tele-booking, while for the Lazio region the limit is set at 18 days. It is worth remembering one detail. Hunters coming from the two Regions who intend to request hunting residence in the Region other than that of residence have priority over those who request registration with the ATC (as an additional ATC) and have the right to carry out hunting activity starting from the first day hunting profit, including possible early opening, in compliance with the hunting calendar.
Further agreements to be made
For hunters who request registration with the ATC, not as a hunting residence, the first available hunting day is the third Sunday in September and the days are those set by the Region of origin if more restrictive. In addition to what is established by this agreement, the Regions Umbria and Tuscany, within their jurisdiction, may make further specific agreements in derogation.
