The lawyer Lorenzo Bertacchi, regional president of Federcaccia Lombardy, continues his pressure on the Region. This time the taxes paid for the exercise of the hunting activity not practicable by Lombard hunters are in the sights. Below is the text of the letter: “In the role of Regional President of the Italian Federation of Hunting I am expressing the anger of the many passionate Lombard hunters who, due to the DPCM of November 3, find themselves unable to hunt due to mobility restrictions, even within the municipalities.
And this, however, having to bear the fact that EVERYONE is in fact free to move freely through fields, woods and mountains, as long as they wear a pair of sneakers (they tell me what they want, but those of the runners remain for me "gym shoes") or are on a bicycle. Federcaccia is now not interested in finding guilty, it does not want to say or argue that the Region could have done otherwise, but ASK WHAT LOMBARDY REGION DOES A TANGIBLE AND UNEQUALABLE SIGNAL TO LOMBARD HUNTERS OF ITS PROXIMITY TO THE WORLD OF VENATORY BY FORWARDING THE REGIONAL CONCESSION FEES FOR THE 2021/2022 VENATORY SEASON, BOTH WITH REFERENCE TO THE GENERAL CONCESSION AND THE CONCESSIONS OF FIXED APPOINTMENTS.
And this regardless of whether this season can somehow resume or not, remembering that in any case the closure of even just 15 days in November compromised the heart of the season and that in any case, even if the Lombardy Region were to become the orange zone, most hunters would be unable to reach huntable territories, remaining in any case forced in the municipalities and, often, in the more urbanized areas and with very little land available.
Not to mention the many Lombards who hunt in provinces other than those of residence, or even in other regions (but they also pay the concession tax to Lombardy). And regardless of any assessment of the possibility (at a first legally remote examination, but the assessment of which will be entrusted to a law firm of primary national importance) of being able to obtain from the State the reimbursement than the amount paid this year. Of course you will take the supposed request into the utmost consideration, best regards
this year was the disappointment never occurred in 40 years that I have the hunting license, and compressible that there is the virus but outdoors and alone I do not think it is risky if it was risky for hunters (it is not the hunter who destroys) and risky even xi farmers, formerly those who take walks, now the season can be defined as over, I hope they will give us the reimbursement also to us in Calabria.
