“Rightly, we receive requests for clarification from all over Italy regarding the ordinance of Council of State, being steeped in procedural terms and administrative technical dynamics. Therefore I will try to give a possibly accessible explanation to all and after consulting with the lawyers Orlandini and Pellegrino. First of all, the Council of State fully accepted the reasons set out by the national Federcaccia and by Flower hunting farms and Frigole, namely that the resolution of the Puglia Region that adopted the new hunting calendar should not be understood as an autonomous act that canceled the previous calendar but rather a provision issued in execution of the Frattini suspension decree.
This means that the old hunting calendar still exists and it will be the Tar Bari in the discussion of the merits to decide the scope and limits. Furthermore, hunting continues to go quietly, albeit within the limits indicated by the new calendar, which at this point must be considered provisional.
Furthermore the new limits requested by Vas were rejected with the added reasons, namely the prohibition of using lead balls in boar hunting, the prohibition of hunting in contiguous areas and the prohibition of hunting 500 meters from the coast or from wet areas. Finally, not out of controversy but simply as a response to a specific statement released yesterday by some colleagues, I believe that the arguments put forward by the lawyers of Libera Caccia have not been accepted by the Council of State ”.
