La falconry successfully landed in Petriolo, in the province of Macerata. This ancient and prestigious art was at the center of an event organized yesterday, Monday 28 May 2018, by municipal section of the Italian Federation of Hunting. The collaboration of the Wild-World Association of Potenza Picena ensured the performance of the "WildLife Day", a day dedicated to primary and kindergarten children.
A part of the initiative concerned the didactic sphere, but there was also space for practice, that is to say a flying demonstration of birds of prey. Those present, large and small, have enjoyed a lot. The degree of attention of the children was very high: an experienced falconer, Gianluigi Mandolesi, explained the peculiar characteristics of the various birds, specifically hawks, eagles, buzzards and owls.
Then there was room for the flight demonstration, much anticipated and source of joy and fun among the pupils, who were personally involved. As explained by Michele Merola, issue of Federcaccia Petriolo, the smile of children is the maximum expression of life and how much it is worth living it. The thanks obviously went to all those who allowed this day to be successful in the best possible way.
