The provincial section of Brescia of Italian Federation of Hunting recalled how very important topics will soon be discussed at the Lombardy Regional Council. In particular, we need to discuss some amendments concerning Law 26 of 1993 ("Regulations for the protection of wild fauna and for the protection of the environmental balance and discipline of hunting").
The same hunting association has filed amendments concerning article 22 (card), in order to obtain the dispatch of the hunting card to the home of each hunter. Other amendments refer instead to the appointment of representatives of hunting associations in ATC management committees and that of the auditors in the Alpine districts. There is also an amendment on dog training in the event of closure of the slaughter plans.
A separate discussion must be made for the draft law relating to wildlife-hunting management of wild boar: Federcaccia Brescia does not accept the principle of a disproportionate increase in the share of damage to agricultural crops by ATC and districts, while this is precisely what the project is talking about. Specifically, areas and districts should pay 40% of farmers' expenses for prevention: the association believes that this is an abuse to the detriment of the hunting world.
