The press release of the associations
The Marche Hunting Associations ANLC - ENALCACCIA - ARCICACCIA participated, with the patronage of different lawyers appointed for this purpose by each of them, in the "ad opposendum" defense of Hunting Calendar 2022/23 issued by the Marche Region and challenged before the Regional Administrative Court by multiple animal welfare associations that asked for its cancellation, after suspension of the effectiveness, for supposed, as unfounded, vices of legitimacy.
The Council Chamber
Well, in the Council Chamber yesterday 14 September, the aforementioned TAR partially declared inadmissible (since the question has already been overcome in relation "For the time period already elapsed and covered with a previous precautionary decree", issued by the President of the Court without the prior summons of the parties, as permitted by law) and in part completely REJECTED the precautionary request. It also set the date for the hearing for the discussion of the appeal on the merits 11 January 2023.
What associations want
The writers Hunting Associations:
- take note with great satisfaction of the favorable outcome of the procedure in question as they are witnesses of the enormous, scrupulous and serious work done by the Region in the preliminary investigation of the formation of the Hunting Calendar;
- they must once again note the cloying behavior of the animal welfare associations that every year present, regardless, appeals against the Venatori Calendars of almost all Italian regions;
- here they want to thank all the "positive" actors of this story: first of all Mirco Carloni, Vice President and Councilor for Hunting of the Marche Region. Following: all the Managers and Officials of the Region, all the Technical Consultants of the same Region, the Lawyers of the Marche Region (Cecilia Maria Satta) and of Liberacaccia (Giovanni Fattorini and Giorgio Benedetti), Enalcaccia (Giorgio Salustri), Arcicaccia (Osvaldo Lucciarini);
- look forward to the hearing on 11 January with great confidence and strongly hope that, following the outcome of this hearing, the Marche region, in the existence of the technical / legal conditions, modify the current Hunting Calendar, bringing the closing dates of the turdidae, aquatic and woodcock hunting to 30 January 2023.
