The weekend of the next 19 20 and March is the two days chosen for the sixteenth edition of National Championship National Free Hunting Association 2016 for dogs followed on hare CAC. The event was organized by Libera Caccia itself and by the provincial secretariat of Macerata of the National Dog Sector, without forgetting the provincial SIPS section of Macerata and the Macerata Dog Group. The chosen venue is that of matelica, a municipality in Macerata which rises in the valley of the Esino river. Participation in the test is open to all conductors, even those who are registered with other hunting associations. The day of March 19th will be dedicated to categories Singles, Couples and Mutes, while the next one of 20 to the Mute category only.
The subjects who will become Italian champions of the Libera Caccia association will be the first in each single category and provided that they are led by a person in possession of a valid ANLC membership card for 2016. The first place will be awarded with a gold medal, while the second and third with a silver medal. Registrations should close approximately no later than the next 15 March.
The meeting is also scheduled at theHotel "La tana di Biutino" in Matelica at 5:30 am on March 19th, while the battery draw was set at 18:30 pm on Friday March 18th at the same hotel. The regulation valid for this event will be that of the ENCI (Italian National Dog Association), therefore some of the main norms can be mentioned. First of all, in the Mute class it is possible to replace only one dog, except for those that are composed of at least six dogs, in which two dogs can be replaced.
To form the rankings, the judges must take into account the orderly and correct work of the subjects, the methodicality of their research, the faculty of the scovo, the tenacity shown in the course of the chase and the style of the breed. It is not allowed to cut down the hare to the sketch, while it can be on the recommendation of the judge. The points awarded depend on the behavior of the dogs being followed.
In particular, judges tend to rate safety, persistence, fouls behavior and cohesion with the highest number of points, but passion, discipline, connection and sense of smell are also important. In conclusion, other decisive aspects are undoubtedly the safety in the evaluation of the the perception of the closeness of the den, the expressiveness of the voice in compliance with the work standard, intelligence and some particular aptitudes.
