Il Safari Club International Italian Chapter, an association that deals with the conservation of nature and defense of hunting, has launched the first edition of the literary competition "Hunting stories - unpublished works". A few days after the conclusion of "Hunting, passion and memories", here is a new initiative designed for writers of aged between 19 and 25 years and who will be able to compose works focused on the art of hunting. The regulation is easy to say: the authors who participate in the competition will have to write a story no longer than 12 thousand characters (including spaces), while the topic will be that of experiences related to the world of hunting.
There is time until the next one 15th April to send the work, by sending an e-mail message to the address [email protected], without forgetting to attach a copy of an identity document and photographs in Jpg format. Judging the stories will be the advisors of the same Safari Club International, with a final ranking that will reward the first four authors. The first and second place will be awarded with participation in a mouflon hunt in Croatian territory, while the third will have the opportunity to hunt geese and ducks for three days in Belarus together with a companion.
For the fourth classified, then, there will be typical products of the province of Brescia, that is the area where the entire ceremony will take place. From 10 to 12 June nextin fact, the thirty-first convention of the Safari Club International Italian Chapter a is scheduled Calvagese Riviera (in the province of Brescia in fact), to be precise at Palazzo Arzaga. The evening of 11 June will be dedicated to the awarding of the prize for this literary competition. Participation is completely free and the story that will be first classified will then be published on the association's website.
The travel-awards are tempting and it is worthwhile to deepen the experiences that can be lived. Croatia boasts a geographical position and natural conditions that are perfect for hunting of different species of game. In particular, in the eastern part of the country, deer, roe deer and wild boar are hunted, as well as small game. The central part is instead ideal for hunting bear and capercaillie. In Dalmatia, chamois and mouflons can be hunted. As for Belarus, the marshy and river areas they represent a fundamental resource for duck and geese hunters: there are two fundamental hunting periods, namely autumn and spring.
