Enrico Mirror, extraordinary commissioner ofRegional Park Authority of the Euganean Hills, has given his ok to the decree amending and clarifying the regulation for the control of wild boars in this area of Veneto. The text has been in force for almost seven months, to be precise since last 8st May. The goal is to monitor the wild population in the protected area: in these weeks the selecontrollers and the members of the wildlife team commissioned by the institution itself, they put pen to paper a series of observations, all aimed at improving the document.
In detail, a derogation was requested with regard to the Wood for the construction of new fixed stations, with the selecontroller which should motivate the non-use of this material. Furthermore, the observations resulted in the use of only rifled-bore guns and calibers between 6,5 and 7 millimeters, with single manual loading or tilting, without forgetting the equipment with sight optics.
Another novelty of the regulation is the determination of a different number of heads that each selecontroller enabled for blast chilling can hold, based on the assigned quantities. The baiting, then, will have to serve exclusively to stop the game along the way for the subsequent slaughter. Therefore, only the items subject to posting in the short term. Finally, the same groundbaits must be characterized by a small amount of feed.
