Three full days dedicated to hunting and nature for what is considered the largest hunting "party" in the Benelux and northern France: we are talking about Hunting Capital, an exhibition of hunting and nature which has reached its nineteenth edition and which will take place on 15, 16 and 17 April next in Belgian city of Saint-Hubert, to be precise al St. Michael's Furnace. The fair in question also takes place every other year in Flanders and Wallonia. The organizers chose the municipality of Saint-Hubert because it is universally recognized as the capital of all hunters, with the clear reference to the patron saint who is venerated by those who love nature and the art of hunting.
What will those attending this show be able to admire? There will be exhibitors of hunting weapons and sporting weapons, but there will also be clothing, accessories, optical instruments, stands dedicated to hunting tourism, those of the various trade associations, literature and gastronomy (there will be many local products and wines). In addition, they cannot be forgotten demonstrations relating to hunting dogs, archery and falconry, with a series of very interesting and in-depth courses.
In short, in Saint-Hubert spring will rhyme with hunting: this event had found its ideal location in Meux, section of the Belgian municipality of La Bruyère which is located in the province of Namur, but then the organizers of Hunting Capital could not resist the temptation and charm of the Ardennes forest. Furthermore, Saint-Hubert is considered a real reference for all hunters. The declared objective for this nineteenth edition is to attract as many foreigners as possible, trying to conquer the most diverse nationalities, so much so that at least 150 exhibitors are expected to attend the show.
The precise number, however, will be known in two weeks, when the fair will officially begin, also because the applications received were numerous. The appointment was designed to be usable by families (there will be animations designed for the little ones), consequently the emphasis was also and above all on the naturalistic aspects. The Meux edition was characterized by a total number of visitors equal to 12 thousand units, the ambitions are high and it is hoped to reach and exceed this figure. Finally, the musical shows scheduled at Hunting Capital, with concerts by hunters' choirs organized for the most sensitive ears.
