In addition to this test there was the individual barrage that allowed to assign the Francesco Guarna Trophy, an event named after the executive who passed away a few years ago. There Italian Federation of Hunting disclosed the details of the important test. The latter took place in the Dog Training Area (ZAC) Santa Maria di Roccella Ionica, in the province of Reggio Calabria, well managed and curated by the municipal president Fernando Mazzaferro.
The race was exciting until the end and involved the eight registered teams and 24 total competitors. The final victory went to the Reggio Calabria team, of which they were part Domenico Sarica, Fortunato Marino and Angelo Costantino, followed by that of Gerace (Francesco Papasidero, Bruno Tripodi and Giuseppe Fiordaliso). As for the fifth team of the Calabrian dog test, Federcaccia spoke of a more than happy surprise. In fact, the team was made up exclusively of young people (it's about Antonio Comi, Filippo Giustra and Domenico Cascio), who have been able for some years to try their hand at the canine activity with significant successes. These are the teams that will represent the province of Reggio Calabria in the regional semifinal of Crotone which was mentioned at the beginning. Furthermore, the top finishers of each battery competed in the barrage for the ninth edition of the Guarna Trophy: in this case the Eros setter led by Domenico Sarica won.
Thanks from the provincial president of Federcaccia, Dominic Iero, went to the coordinator Tancredi Labate, the judges and the hunting guards. The Sant'Uberto team championship takes place through provincial stages, regional stages and ends with the national final. Teams made up of federation hunters are admitted to the provincial heats, as long as they are resident in the same region. As for the game, however, the tests concern the sedentary one, with the organizers who inform the competitors of the specific choice before the start of the round. It is possible to shoot other game besides the one foreseen to obtain additional points, in particular those for the behavior of the hunter (40) and dog behavior (30).
