La Regional Council of Tuscany in its session on 17 December 2018 it approved the Resolution No. 1433 in which the “criteria for determining the extent of administrative penalties fines relating to agriculture, hunting, fishing at sea and in inland waters in the Tuscany Region ". Without going too far into the technicalities, we note how the council intended to establish some important criteria for the application of the penalty regime based on the provisions of Law 689/91 and Regional Law 81 of 2000 regarding the reduced payment of administrative sanctions.
It specifies the criteria for the determination of sanctions that in some cases and in the face of specific reasons, they could lead to some new application, in some cases economically advantageous, as well as ensuring the maximum application uniformity of the sanctioning regime. In Annex A the cases are specified in detail.
A step forward in the wake of transparency and legal certainty that will be useful when submitting any defensive writings relating to hunting violations. There Confederation of Tuscan Hunters, which has already activated a specific consultancy and assistance service for hunters registered with confederate associations, remains in any case available for further information or clarifications on the matter.
