With the start of the new hunting season, the “Valle di Fiordimonte” Wildlife Hunting Company has also reopened, the historic hunting reserve managed by the municipalities of Fiordimonte and Fiatra, active for about 40 years.Pheasants, partridges, partridges and hares can be hunted on an area of 3000 hectares of farm, divided into 25 areas. THEFurthermore, in an enclosure of about 23 hectares, dogs can be trained for wild boar hunting.
Located in the hills of the upper Macerata area, in an uncontaminated environment, rich in history, art and culture, close to the Monti Sibillini National Park, the "Valle di Fiordimonte" hunting farm represents a real challenge for hunters, who can test their skills in the ars venandi on an extremely diversified territory ranging from 500 to 1200 meters above sea level where the game is "flushed out" with excellent auxiliaries and is certainly not easy to kill. The hunting season runs from September to January and you can hunt both "on the pitch" (French style) than "on the overthrown". For the latter type of hunting, the Company has some restricted areas, rotated to allow the game to acclimate to the territory in order to escape more easily to hunters. The reserve also has guides and trained dogs available to its customers.Nearby are present various accommodation facilities where it is possible to stay and taste the many typical products of the area.
