also the Tokyo 2020 Olympics ended in a triumphant way for Pardini Armi who underlined this result in an official note: "Our weapons have dominated the specialty of sport pistol and automatic pistol obtaining a further important success also in the compressed air rifle specialties. The first medal came thanks to the American Mary Carolyn Tucker which won the second place in the Mixed Team compressed air rifle specialty, an event that debuted at this edition of the Games, with a GPR1. In the following days, the complete podiums of the women's sport pistol and automatic pistol specialties were added: the female pistol discipline was won by the Russian Vitalina Batsarashkina on the Korean Minjung Kim and the Chinese athlete Jiaruixuan Xiao.
Of the 44 qualified shooters for the Games, 41 (93% of the total) showed up on the platform equipped with the Pardini SP pistol. The next day, our Pardini SP-RF pistol literally monopolized the automatic pistol competition, thus confirming its dominance in the specialty. The victory smiled on Frenchman Jean Quiquampoix, former Olympic vice champion, followed by the Cuban Leuris Pupo (Olympic champion in London 2012) and the Chinese Yuehong Li, bronze in Rio 2016. To this remarkable medal consisting of two gold, three silver and two bronze medals was added the medal of gold won on the second day of competition by the American William Shaner who, to achieve the laurel in the men's compressed air rifle specialty, used the stock of the GPR1, demonstrating that that of Pardini Armi is a winning platform in all respects.
Shaner perfectly interpreted the Olympic motto, integrated in this edition of the Games: faster, higher, stronger - together (Citius, Altius, Fortius - Communiter), with the accent placed on the word together that wants to underline the sense of sharing and the spirit of brotherhood of the event. The compressed air pistols, very present on the firing lines, also obtained excellent results. The K12 stopped a step away from the podium thanks to the fifth place of Cristian Reitz in the 10m Pistol Men race. Six medals out of seven have awarded the SP project which had already made the en-plein in Rio de Janeiro.
The SP and SP-RF pistols, launched in 1991 and constantly updated since then to be always competitive, have once again proven to be the best performing tools in production for the specialties to which they are dedicated. Used by athletes from all over the world, they are the choice of great champions who find in them the most reliable tools to compete at the highest levels. Since 2000, the SP and its derivative SP-RF have conquered the Olympics eight golds as well as as many silver and bronze medals contributing in a decisive way to our incredible Olympic palmares which counts, in total, 31 medals ”.
