The Big Marathon with 150 targets returned to Trap Concaverde in Lonato del Garda (BS), after last year's forced break. The winner, under the mid-August sun, was Luca Bondi from Formigine from Modena, who finished the race with a score of 145/150. The standard bearer of the Tav Accademia, thanks to the last three series closed with full points, overtook and preceded by a clay pigeon the young Federico De Micheli (144/150), rising star of the green-gold Arrows of Concaverde and one of the probable squads of the Lonatese team for the Champions Cup on 5 September. Third, with two targets from the top, the Venetian Francesco Pasin, with 143/150. «I felt in excellent shape even if, in this heat, it was not easy to achieve such a result - declared the winner, who had already won the competition in 2017 - I didn't expect to win, but the last three series allowed me to do an encore in this beautiful competition ».

"I am happy to have reinstated the Marathon after last year's stop due to the pandemic - declared Ivan Carella, president of Trap Concaverde - and to have followed up on this traditional race, conceived and wanted by my uncle Bruno, one of the founders of our company, one year after the fortieth anniversary of this structure. I thank the 120 shooters who spent this day of celebration with us and I congratulate them on the results obtained in one of the most difficult and fascinating races of our circuit ».
