The priorities of the hunting world
La sentence of the Council of State of 1 January which does not accept the request for suspension on the appointments of the management committees in ATC RC1 and 2 made by the metropolitan city of Reggio Calabria and postpones the decision to the hearing set by the TAR 12 June 2024 represents yet another opportunity for the FIDC to reflect on the priorities of the Calabrian hunting world which urgently needs the unitary strength that comes from the representation that all hunters deserve.
Federcaccia's claim
This is the request made with seriousness and linearity of thought by ARCI Caccia, ANUU Migratoristi Enalcaccia and EPS, forced to appeal to the TAR due to Federcaccia's improper and improvident claim: "I am entitled to a member in the management committees but I get 4 out of 6!!!” Of the 7 exceptions raised by Metrocity against the TAR order, the Council of State deemed only the one inherent to the absence of the "Periculum" worthy of protection.
Misplaced triumphalism
We respond firmly to FIDC's misplaced triumphalism with respect to the "hard times" for hunting and hunters, calling on everyone to resume our role in uniting representation (just as we were stronger at the time of UNAVI) , to have an agreed voice that speaks to the institutions, citizens, and other categories interested in land protection and wildlife management. FIDC explain why this choice is so difficult for them, because they do not respect the will and choices of all hunters. We reiterate our proposal to be the first protagonist among "equals" of a hunting renaissance (source: Arci Caccia Nazionale).
