Double Trap: Marco Innocenti is the Italian Champion in the Excellence Category.The Double Trap competitive season reached its climax with the Italian Specialty Championship which took place on the platforms of the Tav Cieli Aperti in Cologno al Serio (BG). Marco Innocenti (187/200 +4) from Prato was awarded the Italian Champion in the Excellence Category, who climbed to the top step of the podium after a play-off with Daniele Di Spigno (187 +3) (Fiamme Oro) from Latina.
Deserved victory for the Tuscan who, having entered the final with 5 targets behind the first, led an excellent decisive series, totaling 47 points that led him to the decisive shoot-off. In third place Claudio Franzoni from Brescia with 186 +4. In the youth sector the Italian title was won by Simone Vedovelli from Brescia.
Also in this case the assignment of the tricolor went through a play-off. Vedovelli in fact closed on an equal score with Alessandro Chianese of Naples at 176/200 but in the play-off he was able to keep his nerves more steady and won the gold with +8 to +7. In third place was Jacopo Travisan from Vicenza with 172. Finally, for the sector of 1st category shooters, the national title went to Nico Bizzoni from Rome with 183/200.
