Bringing once again an example - yet another - of how hunting and hunters are useful to the environment and to civil society, Federcaccia Lecce and Federcaccia Fridges they continue their work of environmental surveillance, thus also responding to requests in this sense received from the provincial administration of Lecce. After the commitment in the reclamation activities carried out last spring in forest adjacent to Campoverde, in the marina of San Cataldo, and continued with the ecological days in the summer period organized in different points of the Salento coast, the FIdC members of the Frigole section have continued in recent days their monitoring, research, reporting and reclamation activities in the area, focusing in particular on small but no less harmful or even dangerous illegal landfills present in the countryside.
In the last two weeks alone, more than ten have been identified scattered between the territories of Frigole, Lequile, Lizzanello and San Ligorio, for which reclamation actions have been promoted. To make the signaling task even more incisive and easy pollution situations of various kinds that hunters can encounter in their daily experience of the territory, the provincial Federcaccia of Lecce has set up the telephone number 3807526022 active from today, November 22, and functioning 24 hours on 24 to which to send a simple Whatsapp message in which to indicate the sites found. The environmental clean-up initiative has been given wide coverage in the local press and a news report was broadcast on the Telerama broadcaster during the main TG, which can be seen at the attached link
