As always happens, once the emergency phase is over and the spotlights are turned off the chronicles no longer deal with everyday life of those who have suffered those exceptional events. So it was also for the earthquake that hit Central Italy, the consequences of which are still far from being resolved for the citizens who live and work in those areas. What fortunately does not cease with the turning off of the cameras is the machine of solidarity, carried out consistently and inconspicuously, but no less effective, by many people.
Among these the hunters stand out once again, more accustomed to roll up your sleeves and to do rather than chat, as the many volunteers who worked on the sites of the earthquake demonstrated right from the start, or by pledging to collect and bring to those who needed it most basic necessities and funds for reconstruction. A solidarity that continues today, as demonstrated by the provincial Federcaccia of Pistoia than through a delegation.
This was formed by the provincial president Franco Biagini, by the vice president Mauro Gori, by the secretary Arrigo Mati and by the past president Giovanni Pratesi. several thousand euros collected from all the Pistoia hunters and intended for the needs of the inhabitants of the town of Rieti. To welcome them in the provisional seat of the town hall, among others the representatives of the municipal administration and the president of the Federcaccia di Rieti, Fiorenzo Panfilo. Once again a concrete example of that attention to others and to the territory that always distinguishes the action of hunters.
