The fair that took place from 17 to 19 June last to Strambino (province of Turin), more precisely in the green area in Crotte, it was a real success. The exhibitors came to this part of Piedmont from all over northern Italy and were able to exhibit hunting rifles, radios, dog collars and hunting clothing. The choice was therefore very vast and varied.
Admission was free and this certainly favored the final balance. Besides the exhibition, among other things, it could be tasted very good quality food thanks to the choices of the Pro Loco, without forgetting the entertainment of various kinds and the demonstrations of the falconers. The eighth edition of the Memorial Calderini Lido, a silhouette shooting competition, was very close which took place at the Ghiaro field and which offered a respectable prize pool, 2700 euros in vouchers.
There was no lack of discussions, first of all the conference dedicated to the main problems of hunting, the environment, nature and the territory. The organizers, the presidents of the provincial and national Arci Caccia, the Deputy Minister of Economy Enrico Morando and the Regional Councilor for Hunting Augusto Ferrari participated. Next year, the party edition will be even more ambitious.
