The provincial secretariat of Ascoli Piceno ofNational Free Hunting Association (ANLC) has organized a course for becoming amateur dog competition judges in which they will be tested pointing dogs. The course in question is divided into two parts according to whether you prefer to be judges of races without killing or with the wild shot. In the first case there are four specific lessons.
Participants will learn the hints of dog anatomy in relation to dynamic and mechanical canine techniques of the dog, but also the standards of the breeds that are more widespread as regards hunting. In addition, they will be studied conducting the dog during the tests and the principles and techniques of judgment. After the lessons, the theoretical and practical tests will be carried out in the field.
The course for the competitions with shot game, on the contrary, foresees two lessons: will be dedicated to hunting behavior, dog management, weapon handling, a simulation in the field and the relationship to be done during the competition. At the end there will be a final exam again (theoretical and practical again). The start of the courses is expected by next July. To participate it is necessary to pay a contribution of 30 euros to partially recover the costs related to the teaching material.
