The hunting world represented by the Recognized Associations (Italian Federation of Hunting, National Free Hunting Association, Enalcaccia, Arci Caccia, ANUUMigratoristi, Italcaccia, Game Producers Body) learned in the last hours with satisfaction of the ordinance of the President of the Tuscany region Giani that, following the return to the orange zone of Tuscany starting from 6th December, authorized the possibility for hunters to carry out hunting activities not only on the territory of their municipality of residence, but within theATC of hunting residences and of game hunting companies and other institutions outside their municipality of residence or domicile.
Also the Autonomous Province of Bolzano, with a recent decision, it has restored the freedom of movement within the provincial borders, allowing in fact all forms of hunting. The Associations of the control room, which for weeks have been relentlessly soliciting the Government and Regions on the subject, in thank the Governor of the Tuscany Region for the provision that is in line with what is claimed by the hunting world, they inform that they have immediately written a letter to the Governors of the remaining Regions in the orange zone (Lombardy, Calabria, Campania, Basilicata, Piedmont and Valle d'Aosta) to request the 'adoption of ordinances of a similar nature that give the opportunity to hunters residing in urbanized areas to practice their passion with equal dignity as fellow countrymen who perhaps live in municipalities with large free spaces.
Apply the concept of hunting residence rather than that of registered residence means affirming a principle that safeguards all forms of hunting, making them possible beyond the municipal border and not only as an instrument of mere regulation of wildlife populations with strong impact on agriculture. The control room therefore expects, after the ordinance of the Tuscany region, the same prompt availability of response from the other Governors of the regions in the orange zone.
