Federcaccia Umbria: the regional amateur hunting championship for pointing and hunting dogs begins, which will be located between Spoleto and Valnerina.
2013 will be a summer dedicated to dog lovers between Spoleto and Valnerina. Everything is ready for the preliminary rounds of the amateur hunting regional championship for hunters with pointing and hunting dogs, a canine event without killing, which takes place on game placed in land used for programmed hunting. The event is organized by the municipal sections Federcaccia di Spoleto, Castel Ritaldi, Sant'Anatolia di Narco, Scheggino, Vallo di Nera, Sellano and Monteleone di Spoleto, and will feature the partridge species.
Today, 6 July 2013, the first day of competition in Colle del Marchese di Castel Ritaldi. The stage is organized by the two municipal sections of Federcaccia Spoleto and Castel Ritaldi. In seven days, next Saturday 13 July, it will be the turn of Grotti di Sant'Anatolia di Narco, whose municipal section organizes the stage together with the sisters of Scheggino and Vallo di Nera. The registration fee for each test is 12 euros per competitor, including breakfast. The times of the shifts go from 7 to 13 and from 15 to 19. At the end of each stage the best three subjects of the continental, English and hunting categories will be awarded. Furthermore, the first three Englishmen of each stage will access the final together with the best two continental ones and the winner of the hunting category.
The main purpose of the event, in addition to healthy competition and being together, is to repopulate entire areas with quality game. Enthusiasts, competitors or not, are invited to participate.
