09/03/11 - This morning at the Convention Center Mitte in Nuremberg (GER) the works of the World Forum on the Future of Sport Shooting Activities, an international organization born thanks to the contribution of Fitav with the aim of providing information, valid solutions and alternatives to problems of common interest linked to the practice of shooting sports, with particular attention to legislative, environmental, statistical and image aspects.
The Italian Shooting Federation, which has always been at the forefront of protecting the environment, was the first Italian organization, and for the moment the only one, to commit itself concretely with ANPAM and CNCN for the study and implementation of solutions for limiting the environmental impact of our sporting activity.
In particular, the Legal Technical College, a Committee created and strongly desired by the Federal Council and the President Luciano Rossi and composed of Dr. Stefano Rosi, Prof. Giulio Ceccarelli, Dr. Silvano Verdenelli and Avv. Ivan Russo, has organized two conferences of great value.
The first, in 2007, dedicated to issues related to "Sport & Tourism" and "Sport & Environment", and the second, in 2010, dedicated to those of a legal and safety nature on the handling of weapons.
Representing Fitav at this year's WFSA will be Dr. Stefano Rosi who will participate in the sessions of the Legislative and Environmental Subcommittees and in the General and Plenary Assembly which will end tomorrow.
