The “Neofiti Project” was created by FITAV (Italian Shooting Federation) to promote the activities of the discipline and organize information meetings. The next two appointments are scheduled in Bologna and Rome and will explore various interesting themes. The first meeting of 2016 will be that of 11 January at Asd Tav Bologna in Casalecchio di Reno and which will begin at 10:30 with the greeting of the regional delegate of Emilia Romagna Demetrio Pillon.
In the course of this territorial meeting we will talk about the environmental problems concerning the shooting, a point on the current situation after the recent introduction of new techniques and rules. It will then illustrate what is the legislation currently in force and which is applied to the activities of starting and practicing shooting with regard to the use and possession of weapons. Another debate of some importance will be that relating to the methods and techniques of communication on social networks.
The second territorial meeting of the year, on the other hand, will take place in Rome, in the Auditorium Hall of the Palazzo delle Federazioni on 12 January. After the usual greeting of the regional delegate Arnaldo Sacchetti, space will again be given to discussions on the environmental issues of volleyball shooting. In addition, there will be a debate on welcoming new potential shooters and on the most useful ways to ensure maximum interest and loyalty.
The Neofiti Project was conceived together with the ANPAM (National Association of Sports and Civil Weapons and Ammunition Manufacturers), the CNCN (National Hunting and Nature Committee), to then be developed by the Fitav Technical Legal College and by professors Marco Cioppi and Fabio Musso of the University of Urbino. The meetings began on December 14th in Padua and the following day in Alessandria. The calendar then includes the meetings in Foggia (January 25), Cosenza (January 26) and the last two Sicilian stages in February. Participation is open to all managers of shooting sports facilities and to all presidents of Italian sports associations.
Speaking, however, are the members of the Legal Technical College and the university professors, who are invited to explain the technical, regulatory, relational and communicative aspects of the entire project. The involvement of the university in the Marche region is not accidental, given that it has long been called upon to identify and highlight the main critical issues that make this sport less attractive to future practitioners: this is why attention is being focused above all on sensitive topics such as environment and communication.
