The arguments that emerged at the table promoted by President Enrico Rossi concerning the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Region, the ATCs and the Associations and categories concerned, to reaffirm the instrument of consultation, they saw substantial sharing by the Confederation of Tuscan Hunters. The road taken - he declares Mark Romagnoli - and above all the acceptance of some fundamental observations that the CCT has presented in relation to both the memorandum of understanding and the proposed resolutions on the operation of ATCs, will allow the development of a common work aimed at overcoming the main critical issues as well as supporting, also through technical-scientific contributions, future strategies on land management and the new regional Fauna Plan.
However, no substantial news has emerged regarding the Hunting Calendar and the need to approve an urgent deliberative act to overcome the suspension phase on the hunting of some species (Colombaccio, Corvidi, Anatidae, and Woodcock) following the sentence of the Council of State. In this regard, Councilor Remaschi informed that the next On Monday 14 January a merit meeting between the Regional Offices and Ispra will be held in Rome. The Confederation of Tuscan Hunters expresses its total dissatisfaction with the times and ways in which this grotesque situation is dragging on.
The Tuscany Region “can and must” respond to hunters while reaffirming its own competences and prerogatives on the matter. It is no longer possible to witness this continuation reprimand of responsibility. As already argued in recent weeks, politics and government forces in the first place have the duty to act clearly and without hesitation and uncertainty. The time is now!
